Gold course in Columbus has had a few deer killed by the newly installed fence for the upcoming Presidential. I guess a few people around the course have asked for the fence to come down but the course only took down a few sections of it and plan to reinstall it the week before the golf tournement.

I have found quite a few dead deer with their back legs caught in a fence over the years. Sad to see.

Years ago there was a 150-160 class 10 killed in a similar fashion. The deer swam from an island in the Ohio, climbed the bank, ran 150 yards, crossed a road, ran up a bank and lost steam as he attempted to jump a 5' brick/wrought iron fence. It was a sight to see from what I was told.
