After the derecho storm our arborvitaes in the back now have a permanent lean. So yesterday around noon I set the sprinkler out there to soften/saturate the ground. Then a couple hours later I braced 2 T-posts against the sidewalk with a piece of 2x4, connected a come-along and some tow straps between the posts and very bottom of a bush, and started pulling! Just a few clicks on the come-along every hour or so. Looks like it is working! So today I ordered 2 more come-alongs and more straps from amazon to help speed up the process.
