Saw this on Facebook today. A friend from Ohio tug me in the post. Taxidermist is from WI. Something different for sure.
Around where I hunt in Ohio there was only one guy in close proximity who actually has done the. The couple other taxidermist that I had used previously all recommended the guy who I went too get mine done.I’ve seen a few people have taken the plunge and got one done like this. Pretty cool looking mounts, not one looks the same.
Some kinda outdoors type scene...cedar tree, fence post, etc would do it but you’d still have to figure out how to put it all together. Maybe put some great thinkers together with an ample beer supply and let the ideas flow!I like my mounts to be different. This fit the bill for me and after I seen it here, it just wouldn't leave my mind. It was my first year hunting without my dad by my side and I set out to kill a mature buck. Once I did, what better way to display one of his old licenses. Plus it went well with the old snow shoes. I was able to find an old percussion cap to throw in the mix. Not sure how I will tie it all in yet though.View attachment 120548
