Any of you military boys have any experience with these? It says that it can within stand 4000# of force/pull, could these be used as a emergency tow rope, if I didn't have a tow strap or chain? I think it would be nice to throw a 1 of these in each of my vehicles and it wouldnt take up much space, unlike chain or strap!

For pulling out quads and side by sides I’d say it’d be fine, full size vehicles that are stuck or buried I’d be a little Leary of it, but for 7 bucks give it a whirl and let us know.... We used them but never to pull out stuck vehicles lol....

It’s a 3/4” nylon strap...nothing fancy about it. I wouldn’t trust it to do much more then dragging logs with a quad.

4000lbs would definitely limit what I tried to tow. Would be a good thing to have for those small jobs.

Yup, I have one and I used to use it all the time pulling up firewood from the woods/dragging deer/those small jobs you speak of. Zero chance I’d go after even a small car with one.

Who in their right mind would even consider parachute line for a tow strap? I want something that's capable of pulling damn near anything out, not just Randy's hover round scooter.
