Ain't that the truth. Shame TOO because the dude knows his stuff, he's just an abrasive asshole 99% of the time. He'd be a good asset if he could tone it down some...

He just tells people the way it is. When you kiss someones arse like this and other websites do he will call you out on it. I cant blame him because I get sick of it TOO after a while as do other members. You are right the guy knows his stuff and isnt afraid to share. Deer ducks turkets geese food ots etc...

I call Bullsh**!

I seen them flop with no head!:smiley_chinrub:
I guess what Im getting at is the shot your using has nothing to do with the fact that they flop after you shoot them or not.

Call it what u want watched him drop s 24# bird in his property opening day with his lil 20ga at 30 yards and it never flopped.

Carpn, I used to use that load, very effective. But sometimes I can't get the Tom in close, and every shot has it's limit. I started shooting Hevi-13 and was able to extend my limits. I would agree with birdbuster and Jbrown, Hevi-13 is the best out there for long distance patterning and penetration. Give it a try.

Those are really great patterns, will be devastating to a turkey. You can't beat HEVIShot for tight patterns and a shot that will kill a Tom at longer distances.
