I can't help but share an anecdote that's always in the back of my mind when applying insecticides. I don't recall all the details, but @Fluteman and I grew up with a buddy who had a schizophrenic episode (or many if memory serves me right) after their home was sprayed for termites when he was a teenager (circa 2000 or so). I remember it being a bit of an ordeal for him and his family that seemed to last a good while before it remedied itself (assuming he'd agree that there were no lasting effects). One of those things that stuck with me.
