Picture storytelling thread.

Looks like some old heavy equipment marks. Old logging trail?
Ag field on either side.

IMG_20250603_202019945.webp took me awhile but I've got it figured out. Mom with last years twins (I assume) come by various times daily. She will walk by, cross the road to a bean field planted through rye that's now been sprayed and dead. Watched her nursing a fawn yesterday as last years twins stay out back. I know at least two or three other does are using the same field for their nursery. I 100 percent think farmers are making our deer population boom with these rye cover crops. They have to have doubled to tripled our fawning cover in the last seven years around here with all the rye, and almost all the farmers are using it......

Seen a pic this morning that made me stop and have a short moment of pride. While working in NC last fall I came across a flag on the mountainside where I was opening the road back up. I had to stop and do what was right.

While eating a supplied meal by other volunteers I noticed that not one tent had a flag on it. Kinda pissed me off and I fell asleep thinking about it. So the next day I went to the local Walmart and fixed that problem.

Point being, sometimes it is easy to sit back and do nothing. It is easy to bitch about something or let it bother you for an extended period of time. But why? Why let it when it would take just a little effort to step forward yourself and just handle it? The easy road is the path that is beat down these days. Make your own way and lead by example. Being nice cost you nothing. Make someone smile today. I promise it'll make you smile too.
