Pocket Knives & Daily Carry Items

I never leave the house without my gun, flashlight, and pocket knife. They are on me daily.

My flashlight is a Fenix PD35. 4 different brightness settings up to 960 lumen on turbo. Can light up my entire yard, or use it when tearing down a server or computer at work on low settings. I believe I paid close to 80 bucks for it, but would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Never spent much on knives, carry a cheap Gerber para frame right now.

Packs a punch for its size

The bench made and the green case are with me every day and the old timer gets carried at work. The light is a stream light strion hl. A awesome flashlight with 500 lumans on max setting.IMG_20160104_152019031.jpg

Yep rechargeable. No problems yet in over a year of use. I know you need to keep the contact points really clean for it to charge right. Life time warranty on streamlight.

Not on the battery packs. Mine are all 6-7 years old and have been through some pretty extreme weather. (Alaska winters are no joke on batteries)

This is a gizmo for peeps with bunches of flat keys. It's genius. Mine came in last week. Keysmart.com

Thanks for posting that Jim. Certainly more along the lines of my intent. Great read.

Got all my stuff today. Time to get my CCW back...

Looks good! I'd suggest a riggers belt to help carry that weight. Your standard belt might get a little uncomfortable. Condor makes a pretty decent one for the money, it's what I wear and have for years.

I bought a Cabelas brand CCW belt. So far, so good. Had a gift card and used it on the belt and a couple long tail chamois shirts to wear this time of year. Good combo.

Doing a belt search as we speak, I've always just used a regular belt from Kohl's or Walmart, I bet I've been through 6 or 7 in the past 2 or 3 years. Time to upgrade..

Try the Beltman! Double thickness bullhide. Mine is eight years old and still going strong with every day wear. Lost some weight so I bought another one last year. About 90$ but it will last

I have a black duty belt that works well, but I have a brown doc martins belt that I've had for 14 years... Best belt I've ever had. Both work just fine for CC, though I'm carrying a bunch of extras either.

Belt man is great for leather. I like most leather with the plastic insert.

My preferred belt b is the Wilderness Tactical belts. I have a wide one (most important trait as it spreads the load better) and a regular so they fit all loops.

Condor makes a good Chinese copy for super cheap. The Wilderness will last twice as long but cost roughly twice as much.
