Maybe the plastic was for the walls? I put vapor barrier down, wire screen, 1/4 mile of radiant heater hose, and insulation under my 6” pad. On the day they poured it was 84 degrees and high sun. 2 days later it has more crack than Cleveland. Every time I enter my garage I look at the floor and it pisses me off. Hope you fared better than I.
Porch poured yesterday and cut today. That's a wrap, time to apply lipstick to the pig thru the summer.

I insured mine when they delivered materials. Builder told me a fella a county over didn't, he got hit by a tornado and cleared his material before they could even break ground.
We carry a $1M umbrella for the property, material was covered as soon as it was unloaded. I would recommend checking into your options with having outbuildings, camper in there, covers ya if kids friends or neighbor kids get hurt, or whatever happens.
They got my doors up, but not before it was turned into a nursery.

started the overhaul of my pole building at the new house on Wednesday. Here’s what 50 years of wood being the ground can do.
After 5 years, you accumulate a bunch of shit in a barn...most of it aint even mine. How does that work? 80 ton of 57s start arriving on Wednesday. Along with a skidsteer and tamp.
Ummm, I may have misjudged my gravel order. Parking area is gonna grow. 80 ton aint gonna fit in this barn.

I finally got some shelving units and all the accumulated items off the floor in the corner where stalls are to go. Corner is cleaned, holes are dug, and I got the three 6x6x12's home and ready to set today. Hoping to have it wrapped up by Sunday PM, will be dependent on hunting time.
Another member on this thread needs to update their awesome progress too!!
