I took a stroll with my oldest daughter around the pond today to clean trash blown around from the winter. My perch are spawning again.

At normal levels, it's only like 10 foot at the deepest spot. It's pretty shallow actually, but the perch do very well in it.
Perch are actively spawning in my shallow pond. Providing good structure and a feeding plan are proving promising. My dreams of a kids dream fishing pond of fine table fair is in full form.
