I picked up the 1/4 acre package this morning. I'm afraid the bass were a waste of money...only about an inch long. The bluegills, hybrids and sunfish should do well, they are 2-3". I watched as the 10# of minnows quickly dropped to about 9#. That's the most activity I have seen in that pond.

Your baby bass became a meal today. The last sale of this fall simply buy 25 bass at 3-4” and you should be set in a few years. Most of my spawn are bass.

Yeah, I know that. I will eventually get it right. Heard a local pay lake sells bass minnows for bait at $2.50/dozen. 4 dozen of those might get a few survivors.

Jones fish has 5-7” bass still but their site says the 3-4” are sold out. You could check with them to get some big enough to survive. You could also ask @Dustinb80 to bring you some...that would give you an extra one or two this year.
