Would like to ask for prayers for my grandmother. Last week she had a surgery to repair a hernia. She kept saying that something just wasnt right. So today after having a fever of over 102 for three days she went back into the hospital. They ran a few tests and determined that one of the mesh "patches" has came loose and all of the materials that are supposed to go through her intestine were flowing into her abdomen and some serious infection set in. She just got out of surgery again. This time they removed a large section of her small intestine and a part of her colon. The infection is still present but hopefully it will go away soon. Im just asking for a few extra prayers.

A littls update. Grandma was released from the ICU today. She is still in the hospital but the infection is all but gone.
The doctor has originally said she would be in a nursing home for six to eight weeks for recovery but he is thinking that right now she will be close to 100% in about four weeks. Thanks for the prayers everyone. This is truly a great group of people.

Boy I sure hate to hear that. Glad it sounds like she is fighting it and will be on the mend though! Prayers to her!!
