I agree that deer can be conditioned. I have also seen mature deer trust their nose in VERY urban areas. When they smell you, they know you're there and if they can't see you then they get buggy and either high tail it or blow repeatedly and then high tail it.

I haven't stepped foot in any of the properties I have permission on.... Taking a different approach this year vs years past.... No cameras, no refreshed mineral sites, I'm letting the alfalfa and beans do it for me this year....
Might be a mistake, only time will tell.... I'll check on the stands here in a week or so, and that'll be it till opening day....
