Thanks a bunch fellas. It was definitely the toughest hunt I've ever been on. It would have been 10 times worse if I didn't have some decent company most of the week. Luckily my best friend was out here hunting his property and I was able to share the enjoyment a bit with him. I gave him the biggest homo hug ever when I pulled up there and he came up on the quad. I was pumped for sure! I'm still excited to get together some pictures to put on the wall and get his skull camo dipped and put on my fireplace!

We've killed a lot of deer, messed up on a lot of footage, and pictures. We've gotten pretty good at fine tuning the process and really take pride in our photo's. Which is why you'll almost never see a deer with a messed up face or gutted, if we can help it. I was in a terrible hurry or these pictures would have been even better. Unfortunately I didn't get any with my bow.

people think Im crazy when it comes to pics and I dont have a lot of good ones at all but the one in my Avatar was in the back of Wild Ohio because I knew someone who worked there and she liked the way it was took. The issue with the catfish on the front a few summers ago. They think Im nuts cause I get to cleaning up the deer and shovin his tongue in his mouth ect, ect

Yea, the very first thing I did was shove his tongue in and clean his muzzle off best I could for the pics. One thing I won't do is try to cover up the arrow wound though. Guys will lay their bows on top of it. I'm proud of a good shot and like to show it off. I didn't doctor that one up any though. Those rage's tear a pretty good hole in them. Though I'm still not a committed fan of them. Still like a fixed blade that flies straight.

Nah Ben, that was our first Ohio buck back in 2007. That was the first deer we really nailed the pics on and started to get serious. I actually have a few better pics of that particular deer, but they weren't on my PB and I was to lazy to upload them to it. I'm more anal about it than my buddy. He basically relies on me to take the good pics...
