Drove to centerberg oh and back glad it was raining deer all over the place. Made the 4hr round trip more enjoyable. About an hr of it was straight downpour that sucked.

2-3" here today. One neighbor said 3.2" but I'm not sure when she emptied last. Mom emptied her rain gauge last night and had over 2" today. Another neighbor emptied his last night and was over 2".

Edit for update:

Local meteorologist posted 4.9" total for the area over the weekend. Wow!

@hickslawns - Jelly over at the farm - total 1.23" from my raingauge, it's possible we might get another dose but only a lil bit. 4.9" would have made up for a alot of moisture we missed in the drought here.

Got a nice heavy rain going on right now, must have had a gulley washer last week when we were at the beach, washed out part of the drive down to the basement.

This is where much of my family on my dad's side live. All my relatives are accounted for and safe. Have had some loss of possessions. Garage contents, cars, etc. No loss of life for my family that I'm aware of. Horrible. The firetruck was the first one Hindman purchased. My great Uncle founded the department. Terrible losses for a poor section of our country.
