Sea foam/Stabil and topped off tanks are your 2 best friends. No room for moisture and fuel doesn't break down. Fill her up, giver a dosage and let her run for a few minutes. Then shutoff the fuel and let her run the carb dry. If done correctly, she will start up no problem even after 6-12months of sitting.

I do the above and run anything with an engine for a few minutes every month.
Perfect, that came over as I finished typing my question.

Puffy Clouds ⛅️ just started to show up. Two hours after the county text message. I guess they wanted to give me ample amount of ⏳️ to prepare 😅 , but it does 👀 look like it'll get here eventually.

That much needed rain 🌧, because our creeks are about dried up, eventually made it to us @11 pm & finished up right after midnight 🌙, and it dumped (1) one perfect inch of 🌧 rain. That makes a total of (1) one and (3/4) three quarters of an inch since the new gauge went up, which was on a Sunday, July 16, 2023. I'll take it!

I didn't look at the gauge when I walked past it this morning. It was one of those extra dark mornings. Almost walked into the hitch on my truck.

Yeah, the wet cool AM start made me a little slow in getting out of bed this morning. I think it took me by my third awakening to actually get out of bed this morning and yeah, it was pretty dark still.

We needed that rain, and probably another inch before the end of the month before I believe will be close to being in the normal stage for us, and I do believe will get it too.

Be safe Dave, you only live once, so I've been told anyways, a couple of times. I'm a hard learner I guess 😊

Standing in the front yard with the cellphone, video recording what was taking place just to the northwest of our place in the sky. Only received sprinkles, and that was it. The heavier stuff missed us once again.

Radar is different every 5 minutes at the moment. Just had an absolute toad strangler pop up between the farm and house. Soaked all my lime and fertilizer. Mowed plots at the house and it's either no-till and pray, or wait a week for them to dry before tilling. I'm leaning towards the given of soil moisture with more rain almost certain weekend.
