I was planning on taking the kids fishing today…they don't even want to go outside right now…neither do I, lol.
Messed up weather for sure. Kids had a snow day earlier this week and now it's warm enough to barely need a coat.
I see a 65* in for next Monday. I kid you not, I killed 3 skeeters yesterday while standing in my front yard. If that's any sign of the year to come...
Before this year I can't remember the last tic I pulled off of me or the dogs.... This year almost every outing...
Carrying a fine tooth comb and running it thru the dogs coats and getting them out that way on them...
Having this discussion in a group text. Enjoy this weather with cautious optimism. This is not good for the ecosystem...
I brought it up some time ago about how this will effect us come fall. I'm not sure how apples and nuts will react if we get a good freeze. It seems things are going into bud.
I learned that a few years ago and I won't even run them over now. Lol, I was known to ditch dive for them in the past.
I found this very interesting and possibly something I'm going to look into further.

I'll still kill every one that gets in my trap, turkey eggs are more important than ticks IMO.
You must not know anyone with lime disease…I do and it scares the shit out of me. Fugg them turkey eggs, although turkeys eat them also… I'd have to do some research to what one they think eats more. I guess my mind kinda ran off with keyboard, lol.
