Thanks for the offer Giles. It has been 5 months since my surgery and I am finally able to walk up to 2 miles so far. But not without some pain. Ankle swells afterwards. Goal is to get up to 5 miles. I should be able to handle taking down my stand in the near future as soon as I test my ankle while climbing a ladder...

I feel lucky! We came through it pretty good with some rough stuff just missing us by a few miles. Looked like it got pretty nasty by Giles place! You guys ok David?
We good, thanks for asking. Got called in around 3 this morning. Might take a few days to get it all restored with the rain coming. We will get it tho. Pretty damn thankfull that it didn't live up to the hype. Long days and short nights ahead!

Athens
The wind was freaky weird at our place near Athens. Tornado warning on my phone woke us up around 3AM. I'm not sure what app my wife was using (it was 3AM, I wasn't functioning 100%) but it said a tornado had touched in Wellston, then another near Albany. That was tracking right at us. We got the kid out of bed and went to the basement. The wind was hitting the house in an odd direction, almost more from the N-NW. Rain was hitting the house almost horizontally, from the sound of it, hitting the siding. Then...it just stopped. So weird. When I went out in the morning, no big limbs or tree tops were out. My archery block targets hadn't moved (sometimes wind here will roll them a little ways). The only thing out of place was our son's baseball hitting net which was flipped over.

Hocking is supposed to crest at 23.5 feet…it’s at 20 now. View attachment 206866

I lived for a little over 3 years on Harmony Rd just outside Athens. I do not miss eyeing flood gauges every time the river came up. A few times that it got really bad we had to park all the way out by 32 and hoof it thru the woods between the cabin and where we could park. Miserable.
