This is more like it! Couple mornings going to be in the 40’s this week.
Sure you've heard of lake effect snow, but how about lake effect t-storms
Could be weather related but I haven’t heard anything about an algae bloom on the lake this year. Its clean on the western basin.
Temps, rainfall and lower phosphorus use by big Ag in the area all helped this year.
Nah, just a warm lake and a cold N wind. Simple reverse ingredients of LE snow, happens, just not a regular occurrence in Aug.

Air this morning has me feeling like calling off and headed to the woods!
I'm not ready for cold no sun weather yet. First time in my life I've worked the whole season inside of air condition home then on the interior of mine in the evenings. only three days outside for a chimney repair outside. I feel like Ive had zero summer weather. I love fall but the five months of cloudy dark muddy barley frozen windy misery that lasts until june 1st that's coming makes me cringe......I slept like a rock with the house at 60 this morning with windows down...
Windy as F up here, Lake St. Clair sure was rolling on the way in!!
We got hammered this afternoon, not much wind, but we got about 2.5" of rain in less than 2 hours.
We have a tree down. Part of it came down early this summer and some of it yesterday. I’ll finish it off tomorrow.
