My wife has friends in Iowa woke up to -15 actual temp this morning. Nice sunny day here today. Some schools just east of us followed social media sources apparently and closed school today last night. Zero snow fell today low temp of 9 this am. Sick of end of the world forecasts. We live in the north it gets cold it snows the end. Blizzard warnings let us know but everyone buzzing prepping running to the grocery stores buying shit out of fear for normal winter weather is getting old....

Just my observation for documentation being approximately 140-150 miles from you to the west. It’s also 13 degrees and we have approximately 1/4” of finely dusted snowflakes on the pavement of our apron with a steady round of flurries coming down. I imagine it to will accumulate by the time I get up in the morning. I’ll report my finding then.

Here in GC Im up to attend a weekend deployment that was cancelled and I wasn't notified. Had to get up to take the new mutt out to do her thing anyway so its not a loss. Amazingly she did it with a quickness this morning. Its in the low teens here, about 3-4 inches of snow has fallen and its still coming down. Wife got me one of those little electric snow shovels. Its going to get a workout I have a feeling. Gotta say its really pretty out there.

Went to bed here in central Pa with nothing, woke up at 5 to let dogs out and we are at prob 8 inches. Going to be a long day
We are at the most snow for the season currently. This one will actually be nice since it's going to happen during daylight instead of waking up to all of it at once. Very pretty out. We are at a 12mph wind and it's not supposed to get any higher until Tuesday which will make this way less traumatic. Put about a weeks worth of wood inside yesterday. Haven't had to plow the driveway out in a few years, might have to by tonight, we'll see.
Sleeting good here now. Maybe 3" max of snow on the ground. Could get nasty if it doesn't what it's doing now all day.

Woke up to approximately 4.5-5” of snow on the ground and 19 degrees and snow steadily falling.
We've got 7-8" on the road and it's still coming down. Will probably have over a foot when it's done. Maybe more. The puppy is not amused at trail breaking to go so her business. She's building character.
