Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering wtf am I out doing in the woods at that temp ....lol. Protecting my blinds from that heavy shit. I cut across one set of bobcat tracks at this spot.
Yep, just went and picked our last blind out up off the ground. It's 7'ish" here and radar looks to go for another 7-8hrs. Got a good sweat in shoveling paths to barn, coop and front walk/porch off. Almost time to crack a cold one

We have to be 18-20 inches. I just plowed for the second time and there is already two inches where I plowed
This was just after noon. Dog had been out. Sidewalk cleared. Old lady neighbor sidewalk cleared. Wet clothes in dryer. Boots drying. Time for lunch. Twice baked potatoes. And bourbon.

It's been nothing but sleet here all day. Somewhat anti-climatic, but we are on a Level 3, so we're still sheltering in place for the day. Couple championship football games will be a nice addition to the day.
Sleet and snow so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
Another thing I just realized....that carhart stroud's hoodie that we got five or six years ago has absolutely saved my ass this winter. Without it, I'd have had to break out my hunting gear again, and that stuff is too warm for active work. Its good for sitting still and dealing with some wind.
Woke up to about 5" this morning. A solid 10+" here as of noon, coming down hard again. A foot of snow sure isn't as much fun as it used to be, lol.

Never stopped to measure it. Just keep plowing. Doesn't matter how much fell for me. Only thing that matters is we get it all cleaned up. Spent 6hrs in a backhoe. Juggled 900 phone calls and twice as many texts (it seems.) Had a good operator realize the loader tire was going down and he parked it quickly and resumed plowing in his truck. Got him aired up and rolling in the loader again. Skeleton crew of 4 trucks and 2 loaders still going. I'm going to lay down a couple hours. See what the next wave across the radar is going to produce. Go out and do a full clean up.
