Snow clean to Calhoun Ga. and the ponds are frozen in Macon Ga. will head back north once things look like March...

Didn't take a picture but we ended up with right at 12.5". Still pretty to look at.
Gonna be cold tonight, single digits test the heating systems around here and with less insulation then up north, they work that much harder.
She's locked up about as tight as we see. It was worse in 2014, but this is as much as we've seen since then. We are getting about a barge a day right now, which is down a couple handfuls from a normal day. Every open spot is filled with geese, mergansers, and other random divers we rarely see unless we get this weather.
Being groundhog Day they are making a big deal of these rodents in the news. Thought I'd share a few that made me chuckle.

We’ve had snow/ice on the ground for over 10 days.
Good thing for all this global warming or it would really be cold!
Yep 12 days and counting, not the norm, and now we get wonderful mud.
These guys have had some great coverage of the river the past two weeks. The locks at Willow Island had a major hydraulic failure and traffic was back up pretty bad between that and the ice.
Roads are definitely nasty right now. I just left the high school and parents are losing their minds right now
