They did have snow up in the mountains this morning.
60 mph gust with this wet ground is going to make a mess.
My yard almost needed mowed, then it frosted. Hopefully that buys me a week or two!
We have received a few good amounts of rain, with ditches overflowing and some area flood warnings in spots. I could still go out and drive my truck across the yard today without sinking in bad. I don't think people realize how dry we actually were/still are. We still need more. More steady soakers vs downpours that just run off. You would think yard work would be impossible for most of the week after water laying everywhere but it's sucking right up. Feels like we are in a better spot now but it's odd to seem to dry out so fast. Basically no mud season here yet.
90 year old grandmother just callled me. Tree laying across her driveway. Grabbing a saw and gear to go clean it up. Something tells me it won’t be the only one I cut over the next few days.
