Wut? Your brain saying why not move the food to outside? Single digital temps would freeze the food inside the cooler. This way, I have the cooler frozen already and I can regulate the cold in a couple of days by adding more snow or putting it outside for a few hours.
Limited ice here with about 6" of snow and more coming. Like @JARHEAD said, we upgraded to a Level 3 at 4:55A. It's kinda funny because we got a new sheriff after 20+ years and this is essentially his first major decision, and a lot of people are pissed about it. A couple of newly elected officials should be reporting for duty today, but the courthouse is closed, so they are missing their first day of work. It's not an everyday occurrence around these parts that's for sure! The good news is the wife texted and said "Old Grand did great" after leaving for work at 6:30. This is the first major snow she's driven in with the new ride, so it's good to know it'll handle even the worst of what we see around these parts.
Didn’t get any freezing here at the house. Talked to our UPS driver and he said it wasn’t bad out there either. Said overnight tonight might make it sketchy in the morning though……
I called a plow in...drift is roughly 4' out by the neighbors barn. I'll get a pic later. Guessing we ended up with close to a foot.
It's snowed all day here with a couple hours left. We came off Level 3 for a few hours and are back on. We have at least 8" now. Told the girls this is the most either have seen at once in their lifetime. Pretty atypical snow for SE Ohio, especially since we have more than the northern counties.

Yeah, I just got home from work and the roads are worse in Marietta and down rt7 than they was this morning. Fixing to head to the parents house to check on them in a few. Level 3 be damned!
This is about what it looked like most places. On the plus side, I saved a lot of money on payroll and diesel. On the negative side, 10 loaders and 3 trucks never got fired up. Just the salt trucks. Oh well. Can't control the weather. Thankful we were able to make a little money. Sounds like many received lower totals than they were predicting. Not a bad thing. Most got plenty of snow.
