George appears to be shooting pretty darn well these days. He’s gone away from “instinctive “ and now aims. I assume being retired has afforded him more time to practice too. That guy struggled for a while. Glad to see him shoot well again.

Never personally met George but the people I know that know him all think highly of him.

A Bowhunter Education course should be mandatory for ever person who wants to hunt in archery season. I seriously believe it would make a difference in the amount of wounding loss. I had a good mentor, but I still learned a few things when I took it way back in 1985.

Wow.... Ohio doesn't require one... In Jersey both archery and firearm are required...

I don’t have a ton of kills but as for non recoveries I’ve lost one w an xbow, one w a rage, Iost one on a gut shot, another through the backstraps w compound and a few misses. I’ve killed a couple in the upper 40’s range. Have had a few misses also. For the record most of them died that the arrow found its mark. I’m 10% on losing a deer after drawing blood.
