Standard dies work just fine in all my rifles. So I got everything the other day but haven't had time to get it setup yet lol.
I had another question for you guys that are already reloading.
I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and he said that I would need to get a different resizing die for the AR loads. He said the long is fine for the bolt action rifle I have but would need a short for the AR loads.
Just strikes me as odd as I have never walked into a gun shop and seen ammo on the shelf specific to AR's or Rifle or I just didn't pay much attention to it.
I here ya on the weather! My reloader is set up out in the shed and it was cold lol. Come on summer!!!

I think what your friend was talking about was neck sizing or bumping the shoulder vs full length sizing. In a bolt gun you can get by with ammo that is snug in the chamber and might get better accuracy. In a Semi-auto (or lever or pump) the rounds need to chamber easily. Or he might have been referring to small base sizing dies.
How's the reloading going?
