Well. I saw the "new" Red Dawn this evening.
In general, the newer one kinda followed the old one. There were some twists (1-2 really good ones) here and there. Some improvements to the technology. I didn't care for the last 2-3 min. of the ending. (As in how it ended.Not that it sucked, I just preferred the org's ending.) Camera shots during action came short and fast a few times. One scene had so many multiple angle shots during the breech of a building, I lost track of who was killing who. lol
The org. (filmed in 1984)... ya. thats 28 years ago to those of you thinking it didn't seem that long ago...) STILL would have to get my vote. I would suggest you can wait another year and rent it on DVD .
