Replacing a out building

Jim- I have a couple of the carports you order and they bring in/erect in one day. You have to have a level base for them. Each one is 24x30 with 10' walls. Three sided. They have served their purpose. I've looked into the more permanent buildings they have. I'm not sure I would go that route Ina permanent structure. While these have been adequate, they are essentially portable car ports. Keep equipment out of most of the weather. I say this because I read a post where I thought these were mentioned. If you go this route, try to find one you can check out in person. I'm not sure if the 4 sided buildings with roll up doors are built any heavier duty or not. I think they are the same. While nice and handling their intended purpose for me. . . I'm not seeing the long term durability of a stick built garage or even a pole building.

Late update;

Ended up with a wood frame, vinal siding. The garage door is 2’ wider and a foot taller.

Had a “lock-out” installed for a generator if we loose power for an extended period to run shop equipment.

Also had a “Lockout” added to the house at the same time w/ the deal I cut with electrical guy,which I’ve wanted for years. For years I was dragging multiple extension cords into the house… Never again.
