Hated to hear this.
It has created a bit of a stir in the saddle hunting community. Sad that his wife is going through this but she gets a lot of credit for getting the details of the accident out as best as she ccan.
Anytime you're in a tree you're in a bit of a predicament. Started saddle hunting a few years ago and climbing was the problem I probably did more research on than anything else. Decided on rope climbing methods as they are the easiest to get back out of a tree quickly in any situation
