I did ok, saw some chasing, mostly smaller bucks. Shot a decent 8 point on the last afternoon of or trip. Lots of hunters at salt fork for sure.

Any tips for a newbie who has not ventured there? I am considering taking my son there to try and fill his other tag.

I remember hunting the 'primitive weapons season' at salt fork when I was a kid. Place was jamming with people back then. Also remember watching the deer seek refuge in the golf course section(I think that's right)?
