Doesn't matter. They're mercs. Not cops or government agencies. They're not bound by the same rules, policies, and laws as government agencies. Remember Katrina? And I would caution you that more often than not. Things are much more than what they seem.

And given their proximity to the bomb apparently they aren't very good at spotting suspicious behavior. Lol. Any tit can tell you after a bomb explodes what jus happened. And where were they afterwards? In all the pictures of people helping the injured. Not one merc. Per the constitution the government can't use military forces against a civilian population. That should include paramilitary mercenary esq private security firms.

So, I just completed a google search of the Saudi national who was a person of interest. Huh, seems that everything prior to the last 4 days has been wiped out. Yeah, this guy, Abdul-Rahman-Ali-Alharbi, doesn't exist except in the news reports that have been doctored over the past few days.

I think this is a serious problem.

I think this Saudi has very critical ties to jihadist terror cells.

I think our federal government is betraying the American people.

I think I have just about had enough of this bullshit!!!!

Sweet! So long as a private company and not the government hires mercs for use in civilian situations it's cool.
 
Nothing illegal about it... Just another group hired by private companies... Now if they overstep their bounds then they get hammered like anyone else...

Probably goes on a lot more then we realize.... We're just used too seeing it in our daily lives where as up around there with all the insurance companies it may be nothing too them....

Yeah. Nothing illegal about it at all. Doesn't make it right. The constitution protects civilians from the government using military for such roles. They're military for hire. It should also apply to civilian companies also. Who signs the paycheck doesn't matter the end result is the same. Now. If they were just a security company it would be different. But they an active government contracted training and mercenary shop. Read up on Katrina about all the shit blackwater did. There are things that law enforcement isn't allowed to do because of civil liberty issues, due process, meranda rights etc. police seem to be augmenting their staff with companies who aren't held to the same laws as police and government when it comes to dealing with civilian populations. Worse yet, more and more often they seem to be using such companies to circumvent the laws that bind their hands. It also leave lots of gaps if someone's civil rights are violated. With cops you have things like internal affairs, it's easy to sue the police force, call them to the stand etc. with a private company they can circumvent and make such civil rights violation claims a gigantic legal process that they fight.

It's all speculation Joe, we don't know what their purpose was being there.... Hell they could of been there keeping an eye on some CEO/CFO's trophy wife who was running the marathon.... Lots of money in Boston....

Doesn't matter. They're not cops. They're for hire mercs. Contract guns, ex seals, Sf, rangers etc. Not your run if the mill MP providing security for wackenhut. We have less qualified people guarding nuke plants. Who signs their paycheck is irrelevant. It comes down to an issue of protecting individuals civil liberties. These companies are very good at getting away with stuff cops and other government police forces would be strung up for. Which is a lot of the reason they're hired. And if it was their job to provide extra crowd security. If I was the Boston pd I'd be looking for a refund.
 
Not so much providing protection of the general populace just certain individuals who are probably out of our tax bracket lol... If you or i made that kind of money we'd probably afford the same protection For ours as well....
 
Yep, we are protecting the Saudi's again. We should really bite the bullet and get off of their lie, bribe, financial assistance....whatever it may be and move on. Problem is no one is willing to do the hard thing and would rather kick the can. I saw this one coming.

Said before, I'll say it again...they can't eat sand...stop buying oil, starve 'em, let some company (Haliburton) take over the country and move on....

State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter. The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home.

In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

The news raises questions over whether Tsarnaev financed his radicalization on taxpayer money.
