Save Those Christmas Trees

Been tossing this around for quite some time. Finally put it into action. We put up a blind for my Grandson Braydon. Then we built a firewood rack in front to help blend it in.

Today I smeared some mud on the fresh cut logs. Then drilled holes in those logs to anchor the tree branches. Added just a few loose branches laying around.....and this is looking pretty cool!

So far, have only used about 1/4 of a tree.
Going to add more to the top of the blind very shorty.

I’d be scared to death to move in that blind @Wildlife! That sun blast me in face...would also make it hard to find my target and pinpoint my shot.

That particular spot is where the deer come from the rear and to the left. That blinding morning sun has worked to my advantage at that location more than once. It blinds the deer TOO!

Not completely finished yet but it is starting to look a lot better.
