Seek One's Lee Ellis

I like to see one of these guys go up to the big woods of Vermont and go one on one against one of the Benoits...

Summer scouting 2025.... only watch if you like big bucks and there's a question for us all to answer, how far will YOU go to get on that big buck?!?!

The question is how far will you go to shoot a big buck and get to jump up on that band wagon and BEAT YOUR CHEST AND SAY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME IM THE BEST !!!! Sorry not a fan of these guys... Here's the latest pro-staffer look at me hero... Love when they get caught...

I appreciate people who push the limits of human performance to achieve extraordinary results, even if it's not something I'd do. There are far more egregious "look at me" people in the hunting world than these guys. For example, I unsubscribed to the Deer Society last night after the old man Dukart claimed to have "missed" a deer with his Ten Point crossbow when the arrow clearly hit the deer low and back. He then admitted to having not shot the bow with fixed blades and blamed the broadhead more than himself. When he killed the buck the next day, you could clearly see the wound in the guts before he shot, and in the recovery video. That's the hubris I can't stand, and I've never seen that from Seek One. If they mess up, they admit it, and that's how it should be.

Watch and let me know if you agree. Go to the 15-minute mark and watch until 19:30 when he recovers the deer and see for yourself...

Lee would do this without a camera and it shows. I haven't seen him say it, but I think his number one follow in life is God first and chasing big bucks is his addiction. Not the fame. If I am wrong, so be it, but until then I will enjoy what he does and be thankful thatbhe shares it. A true light of hope in this fucked up bone measuring contest it seems to be.

I live in the big woods of Vermont, most guys on these hunting shows would struggle their asses off tagging a buck, big bucks here don't show themselves in crop fields, and you don't drive the roads here hoping to see a buck on a piece of private land and then knock on doors, not how it works in this neck of the woods, lol.

@Maxxis31: You hit the nail square on the head... The Benoits would grab their Remington 760 and get on a track and stick with it till they shot that deer...That's what I call a hunter....

Everyone always thinks their situation is the hardest or “real hunting”.

This dudes created a life where he can hunt and scout and he does. He puts tons of hours in and does it consistently from city to suburbs to farm country. Never seems to be selling a magic bullet either. He just finds a deer he likes and puts in 100% effort.

I really don’t get it. If he had a lease folks would hate him. If he had his own farm folks would hate him. If he went to an outfitter they’d hate him.

just so we are all clear on the goal posts here - I’d like it outlined exactly what he needs to do to be considered a “real hunter” lol.

Idk about yall but I don’t hunt to make it hard.

I enjoy running an arrow through a deer, and as long as someone’s doing it ethically - God Bless Them. If I can kill them day one or day 100 in the woods - I am happy to do it. I don’t care where I fall on the spectrum of erroneous hunter status. I am certain Lee don’t give a sh** either.

Strange…

I've seen enough of him to know that with a little adjustment time he could kill nice deer anywhere on the planet! Not many hunters can equal what this man does in farmland or urban hunting plus we have seen him succeed out west also. Hunting up north in the big woods with snow on the ground and a 06 over your shoulder I'm pretty sure there are several people on this very web site that could find and tag a good buck if they wanted too! Give him credit! big free range bucks are not easy and this young man has a big house full.

IMO anyone who hates on Lee Ellis hasn’t watched much (or any) of his content. I’d put him up against anyone when it comes to killing deer… any deer. He clearly works his tail off and gets the job done time and time again. And to top it off, he’s one HELL of a content producer. There’s a lot there to respect, and very little to hate on, if you ask me.
