Not for hunting, just for ownership...is that an 18 inch barrel?
The Mossberg we used had a 18" barrel and the Remington had a 23". Please elaborate on why this couldn't be used for hunting.
As an update we built and tested it a couple weeks ago and everything went fairly smooth. The stock was all rough cut so we had a lot of sanding to do, but both guns were built and functioning properly within 24 hours of receiving all of the materials.
NoDakRat your assumptions are correct. There is no need to redesign the pumping system, everything works just as it would stock. The triggers are completely disconnected until you engage the front trigger(on the fore grip). This allows for the pumping action without ever having to remove your hand from the fore grip. The travel need for pumping is about 4-4.5 inches.
