Saw the eight pointer that I’m after come out into the field with a bunch of does….too late to shoot….being as cloudy as it was I probably couldn’t see the crosshairs in my scope anyway. Legal shooting time had come and I didn’t want to shoot at dark. I did use my binoculars and could see his rack above his head. Try again tomorrow.
