FUCKING FRIGIDAIRE FREEZER GAVE UP THE GHOST AFTER 5 YEARS!!!!! LOST A DEER AND A HALF PLUS OTHER SHIT. FUCK THEM! Rant is over….that is all.
Those things are rusted enough that I'll probably have to cut them off so no worries there.
Don't think I'll fix it. We will just buy another. Didn't like the sudden stop.
I decided it was time to deal with my neglected 5500/6500 Predator Generator.
I knew it was toast so I just ordered a $25 rebuilt kit from Amazon. It included a brand new carbo, gaskets, plug and everything under the sun to make the thing run. I pulled the tank and thoroughly cleaned it. The interior of the gas cap was rusted so I soaked it in Evaporust until like new condition. Replacing the carb took ten minutes. I'm only running rec fuel now and it started on the first pull. Done.

Good call Mike. Always best to get them fixed prior to needing them.

It's hard to beat those china rebuild kits. Hell you can go through 7 of them before you reach the price of an OEM.

Neighbor brought over a trackhoe to scratch out a spot for our above ground pool and hit the sprinkler line. Good learning opportunity for the boys. Cable or nylon string will cut pipes like butter and awful handy in tight spaces.
