Buck I missed in muzzloader. He wintered on our farm the last two seasons. Zero pics in 2023 but found a shed spring of 2024. Didn’t show up on cam until the evening I missed him.

Athens
No it is probably 6 or 7 miles from ash cave
This was private property up until maybe 2 years ago
It borders the family farm in hocking and Vinton counties
It is now owned by Appalachia Ohio alliance and they call it bison hollow
I grew up calling it the rocks as most locals did

That’s a pretty water fall! I’m guessing that’s about half way between my parents house “where I grew up” and my aunt and uncles in circleville/ laurelville area. Beautiful country out there! SR 56 is one of the prettiest driving roads you will find!

I've spent many days on that property working for the new owners. Lots of illegal offroad use there unfortunately, as is the case with much of Vinton County. Otherwise it's a stunning area.

Lone wolf we only went to the upper falls and this time I saw no sign of ATV’s but certainly have in the past
I wanted to take them to the sheep wash but they decided they didn’t have time. That end used to really get trashed, I am hoping the new owners get it cleaned up.
My mother grew up there and used to take us through the rocks then on to ash cave and old man’s cave. She new the area really well and loved to walk in the hills.

big Weff this is just off 56 on potter ridge road and is open to hikers now
