One for Giles! I'm working on a old farm house remodel in Clark county. One room has a box of sheds that have been picked up over the years. Seen this big 3pt and had to take a pic to show Giles
Sitting here at Karissa and Spencer’s yesterday looking at one of the many sheds I’ve given them for decorations recently looking at the smaller shed and recounting the year I found it. They are hosting a big family Christmas get other this weekend and I shared and showed Ron @Fullbore both sheds and he totally agrees with my assessment.
The year was 2013 when I picked up the smaller shed in a picked cornfield in the middle of small town with no traffic light just 2 miles from our house and 3/4 of a mile from farm I use to hunt. While reflecting I realized how much it resembled from a huge buck I got on camera one season just one time over a scrape. I shared video on TOO I need to find it but I found the right side the following season over a year after he dropped it. It had some rodent damage but I’m 1000% positive it is same deer that dropped the smaller antler in 2013. I believe the year I got the huge buck on video was in the 2016-18 timeframe. The big shed was a year later than video.
Plus the farm I found the huge shed is smack dab in between both farms 1/2 mile each way from scrape video and small shed pick up.
Dang, finally found it!! Picked up huge shed in April 2018 from the deer that I had on video in 2016/17 season.
Couldn’t get the videos to play but it just had still shot of video. DANG!! This deer in video based on dates I found both sides on ‘13 and ‘18 I would say was 6 years of age. The mass, frame and beam length are excellent.

Welp, walked in the misty rain for over 3 hours today and covered most of one farm today. Still have another 1/3 left to walk but I ran out of time today. Might finish up tomorrow weather permitting. Found my first shed, small but fresh and no chews which makes me very happy. Not the best ATL pic but this is how I saw it as I happened upon it.
I also found a deadhead and took couple of pics. Sad, but I usually find 2-4 a year while shed hunting. The first pic is from the...
Their memories of antler details are unfathomable. I'd bet he remembers the details of the 57th antler he found better than some people can recollect their weddings or birth of their kids.
