Awesome Mike! My wife likes to go along every now and then and just "watch" but I don't think she would ever kill anything. That's awesome though that she is taking interest, will be fun even if you just have family shooting time!

My wife is totally down to wack a deer.After hitting a few with vehicles over the years she is all about population control .But she refuses to do it with a xbow or firearm..She had a 08 Bear an sold it a year or so ago..So sooner or later we will get her a new now..
Just the fact that she tried it is a big step. Like some, I consider the deer hunting time MY time to recharge. There is always something cool to report to the wife an kids after a day in the stands but sharing a blind would never work for me. lol
Early in our marriage I remember one year she thought she would help me out be washing all my camo's I had laid-out in preparation for the opening day while I was at work.
She was all pleased with her self when I came home because they were CLEAN, BRIGHT and SPRING FLOWER FRESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to the new and improved UV BRIGHTENERS !!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
I damn near wore the camo print off re-washing them over and over that night and the next day. lol
She forgot or I never told her about the scent/UV brightener soaps and deers eyesight and smell. O well. it was years ago but to this day its a joke and it usually comes up at the start of each season with the preparation ritual.

The way i look at it is ... If the wife wants to hunt fine..But we both agreed it wont be together..lol.>She said she dont need no stinking man to find a funnel or brush in a blind...
We think alike...Plus there is no way she's gonna start hunting...She'll see how much money I really spend...lol
