I would like to suggest a flex fit hat and a beanie. I would be more apt to wear those than order more shirts. Just a thought as I know these guys wear hats a lot.

Yes, a flex for hat would be a must if he can do them with embroidery. I have some info from when I was looking last I could give him. If not, I have a lady who does this and possibly a Flex Fit supplier.
