I've shot my Ravin that's rated at 400 fps, out to 70 yards and can hit a 2" target dot....from a rest. Later that same year, I had a shot at a standing doe at 73 yards, from a rested position and passed. Had it been a coyote, I wouldn't have hesitated.

That would be totally unethical need to tie a bunch of Hotdogs to yourself a pack slightly opened on a drag line to your leg and only shoot once it starts to feed.

May be possible to set a few leg traps with in a few yards of where your sitting could possibly get a few if your patient while they are feeding.
