Well done! Are you finding that distress calls (fawn and pup) are working well right now? Or are you having luck with other vocalizations?
Usually try a little bit of everything because it’s all worked at some point in the past lol but the majority of times it’s vocals, whimpers & pup distress/ fight sounds that seal the deal. sounds definitely are important but don’t overlook the fact that you need to get right in their bedroom this time of year!
Slip in close and just push some buttons lol you’ll probably see something

Nice job!

How many shots to kills do you guys average? I don't imagine many get away from a shotgun this time of year. Unless just throwing lead at a runner.

Calling in any cats?

Since switching to TSS I've yet to have a coyote get away after taking a good hit, I do hit some moving dogs a little back and need to give em a follow up but on a good broadside shot or give me either direction length wise & it just seems to fold them up. lead shot did great most of the time but it definitely has its limitations compared to tss

TSS isn’t magical but it’s amazing what it can blow through and still have the capability to kill a coyote with authority! So in a perfect world and I don’t screw up my shot normally 1 shell per dog, running shots and just whiffing add to the shell count and yes they do happen 😂

Also I’ve yet to see a cat while day hunting but I see plenty of bobcat with the thermals at night
