I am convinced that she is half Chesapeake bay retriever. I saw a special on them last night. She looks exactly like this pic down to the white stomach patch and white tip toes.

You'll know if she's part Chessie once her fur gets a little more developed from the puppy fur. The white patch on the chest is also a good indicator but I think labs can sometimes have that too. I think a lab Chessie mix will make an awesome dog! But if she does have some Chessie your basic training might needs some tweaking and patience. They can be stubborn at times and while they want to please their owners, it just takes some patience and consistency to make sure they're doing what you want them to do.

Chessies and their owners are known to be fairly awesome TOO so congrats on that!!

She's 16 weeks and now 30+lbs. We're really pleased with her training.

That's a good looking dog Mike! I believe we are gonna start looking for another golden retriever here soon. I'd like for our daughter to have a puppy to play with, plus I believe it will be good for our other dog as well.
