I need to sight in my muzzleloader but the wind outside is blowing at 15 mph. I can't really do it during the week as I don't get off till 5:30. Would you guys still try too sight it in?

Yes. A 250 gr bullet at 2000 fps with a 15 mph wind at 90 degrees will have 4-5 inches of wind drift at 100 yards. You won't set records for groups but you can be more confident in you zero.

I'd certainly differ to the experts like Sam and Lundy on this. For me, I'd be more concerned with what my 3 shot group looked like. Taking in to consideration the drift Sam mentioned of course.

I would try and find me a place out of that much wind if possible. Backside of the woods. In a holler. Wind at my back.
Not perfect conditions but should help some.

I'm shooting now! Bore sighted and decent group at 50 yards. Might try for the 100 yard today as well.
