No problem. I made a short video comparing 2 taped sticks being hit together vs two bare sticks. The difference is night and day. It's still uploading, I'll post it later. Thanks for the update Chad...

Come on Greg... It's not even hockey season man!!! lol
Yep, pretty simple idea. Yet most people don't know about it.Two pages for tape and rope? . . . .And this is my first post? Geez. Is it deer season yet?
The tape I bought is what Flutie was talking about. I confirmed it with him after I got it, they didn't have black but I plan on hitting it with some flat black, and green spray paint.I have used tape before as well. Plenty of different varieties out there. Probably some tennis racket grip tape would work too if you can't find hockey tape. Might have it in black.
It really helps! The way I look at it is the quieter my setup is the more confident I'll be in setting it up. Maybe it'll allow me to get up the tree a couple minutes faster also.Man that's sweet. Never seen the tube trick before.
Hell ya man, I just tried mine on with 4 lone wolf sticks attached and the weight distribution is excellent!I have molle straps and belt permanently mounted to my climber as well as a straps, belt frame setup for hang ons. These setups rock. Highly recommend for those who walk their stuff in any distance.
Thanks brother. Sticks were a tad tighter, but they still stack without a problem. I gotta get out this weekend and practice with it, can't be going into the woods at Stroud's being a virgin to setting it up.Very nice setup, Chad! I may have to try some of this. Like you said, the quieter it is, the more confident I'll be in setting up.
Did you notice any difference in the way the sticks bed together after applying the tape to them? Seems like mine are pretty tight without anything extra. I'm wondering if added "padding" might be a problem.
