Since I ask everything else mines well

I shot the easton st excel 340's this season and they did the job until I hit a nice buck in the shoulder. I've now switched to the fmj 340 cause it's heavier and Damn near unbreakable. Went from shooting 297 fps to 287 with the weight increase on the arrow.

with full length arrows like you have, may i ask what bow your shooting and broadhead?

I'm a big fan of Easton ACC pro hunters, hard to beat for toughness and accuracy. I liked the Carbon Express arrows until I found out they're made in Korea.

Mathews Monster MR8. I shot the Rage 125 grain 2 blade chisel tip last year. I'm switching to the 2 blade 100 grain this year.

i just ran your numbers in my program, made assumptions at draw weight but even if your at 60 pounds(31 inch draw) your arrow setup is WAY weak... you need to be in the 300 series spine range and if your in 70 pound range your even out of that one with a 32 inch shaft...who ever set you up with that needs smacked in the noodle.

I'm shooting 72 pounds, 32 inch draw.

hoelee toledo batman......your WAY in the red...im surprised you have not been picking carbon out of your hand....PLEASE DONT SHOOT THEM ANYMORE!! one slight nick in the side of the shaft and your in surgury bud....

PM me your email so i can send you a print out of your setup and where you need to be..

Why I love TOO? Milo has the decency to take the time to consider the safety of someone he may or may not have ever met or talked to before.

Curious Milo, what does it show for mine. Shooting a Z28 at 68lbs, 29.5 draw, with the FMJ 340s... I knew I shouldn't be shooting the 400s, but after seeing he was WAY in the red, I'm curious as to my setup now. I'm guessing I'm shooting no where near 290 though.

need arrow length and broadhead weight also.

27 5/8 carbon to carbon and 100 grain heads, Milo. Gracias.

your fine...spine comes out to .370 is what you need ...you have plenty...a 125 grain head would put you closer to optimum with a 150 grain head near perfect assumed 3 blazers btw
