Have to tell the truth on this: Joy and I were busted last night 4 steps before she could pull the trigger. A 120 class 8 pt. was on a mission. Bait pile meant nothing to him at all. He crossed the creek and took about 5 steps and FROZE STIFF! Threw his nose up, looked around, spun around and retreated before she could shoot. We smoked up but were in a hurry and honestly feel it could have been better. Not blaming anything in general as it could have been just that...anything. But seemed a little funny being the first time in 3 years to be busted in this manner.
