All grown up...lol
Been a while since I updated this. Some of you may know that chelsea completed basic training g a couple weeks ago. Myself, my wife and 5 other family members made the trip to Fort Jackson south carolina for the ceremony. It was an incredible spectacle and we couldn't have been more proud.
The day after graduation, she was due at Fort Lee Virginia to begin AT (advanced individual training ).and we were permited to drive her there. During that 24 hours, I came to the realization that she was a different person. So much more respectful and responsible.
We recieved word today that after she completes AIT, she will be home for 2 weeks and then she will be assigned for duty in korea. I am totally excited for her... my wife, not so much..lol I think she does understand that chels is going to get to go places and experience things that she would never have been able to do any other way, which is awesome, but the mom in her thinks she will be on the front lines in a combat zone and she will never see her again. Shes going to be a train wreck for a while.

I don't think Joe remembers much of Korea if my memory of his stories is accurate.

Congrats Dave! Glad to hear she is doing well.
