Congrats Jesse and tracie! You called that one “I’m ok with taking one, it’ll be up to Tracie if she wants to this afternoon”

Boom! You are a heck of a guide I’d say!
It's a lot of work, but it ain't rocket science when it's this cold! Corn, warm place to hunt and an accurate weapon is all we need! We enjoy our alone time out there to have adult conversations we struggle to have during the daily grind. Providing food for our family is a welcome side effect!

Thanks all!

This doe is the largest we have killed on the farm. 40" chest which accordingly to the PA Game Commission gives you an estimated live weight of 182#s, 144 dressed and 80#s of meat. (http://www.pgc.pa.gov/Wildlife/WildlifeSpecies/White-tailedDeer/Pages/DeerWeightChart.aspx) My hands are 9.5" from tip of pinky to tip of thumb and I can't get my hands to touch around her head. I actually broke the hanging hook out of the rafter in the building last night trying to hoist her up. The cold had that 2x4 too brittle for her weight and my raunching on the pulley!
