Yup, this is one of those things that needs changed. Other states will bust you up pretty good for leaving a tongue in a skull. But here in the "trophy state" you can do whatever you want.

On a property I have permission near where I grew up, trashy family has killed beautiful wall hangers a over the past 3 years, they Cape the deer and throw the entire body into the ditch line. I told one of the land owners relatives it's legal to do that in Ohio, he dismissed my comments called the game warden which told him the same thing. GW did say the actual land owner could press charges for littering and that's it. Land owner refused as they are trash also
